Truth about God (4)

A Spiritual Life Brings Pleasure to God

As a Christian, we often encounter numerous challenges, confusion, and even pain and struggles today. These experiences can lead to feelings of confusion, exhaustion, and even giving up. They stem from the conflict between our faith and the values of this world. James 4:4 in the New King James Version of the Bible says, “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?” Therefore, we must never compromise with the “world”  and strive to bring glory to God.

The Bible teaches us to be separate from the world, but it doesn’t mean we should avoid living in the world or disregard worldly “laws.” Instead, we are called to live a more “fulfilling” life. Through this fulfillment, we can display our charisma to the world, and with this God-given fulfillment, we can communicate the meaning of God in our lives to others.

Our lives should be filled with hope, and through this hope, we can demonstrate the magnificence of our lives. By having hope in God, we can know where the end of the road lies and find the “true” direction for our lives. Just as Ecclesiastes 1:2-5 says, “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity. What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun? One generation passes away, and another generation comes; but the earth abides forever. The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it arose.” So, we need to update our mindset.

At the same time, we need to continually reflect on our actions and thoughts. We must examine our motives, whether they are driven by personal desires or for the glory of God.

This is a manifestation of fearing God.(1) (2)

We should pray unceasingly, constantly study the Bible, and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to ensure that we stay on the right path. It would be unfortunate if we were to deviate without realizing it, wouldn’t it?

God’s truth has already filled our spiritual lives, and whether others can see God’s glory and truth through our journey!

Do we ever do things that make us feel guilty before God in our lives? When we do, do we feel afraid? What is the fear of God, and what mindset constitutes a fear of God? Once we understand God’s truth, we will know how to live our lives accordingly.

Is entering the kingdom of heaven an easy task? Are our thoughts in life, correct? If we don’t know how to renew ourselves, we won’t be able to show others the truth of God!

Where do we place God in our lives, on our lips? In our minds? Or in our hearts? Does our life reflect the glory of Christ? Do we live up to the calling of being God’s people? (Have we ever thought about it?)
