Spiritual growth is not about leveling up your skills and your wisdom. But to be able to take responsibilities, in your family, at work, and as a child of God. So, we are living for Him, who sacrificed Himself, to save us.
【2Cor8:11】”but now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have.”
【2Cor8:12】”For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.”
Spiritual growth is important to us because it is the invisible force that drives us to be the good human being that God wills us to be. The growth path starts with you first wanting and willing to grow. Forced growth does not work. You must be willing to commit to it and desiring the growth. After that, we need to prepare and be ready. Then take action and complete doing whatever God wills for you to grow.
Willing Heart. You need to have a willing heart to pursue and serve God.. This comes from understanding God’s love towards us. He sacrificed Himself on the cross for us, to become pure, again. Read bible and pray to Him. Then you will start to understand, and expensing God’s love towards us. He is Love.
Be Prepared. You need to prepare yourself to be ready to serve God. The initial step is to come to His holy temple, His church, to receive His words.
【Eph5:26】”that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,”
In the True Jesus Church, we place emphasis on receiving God’s Holy Spirit. This Holy Spirit is God’s testimony, that His truth is with us. We preach the complete gospel, the word of God. Come to our church, to know God’s words in its entirety and to fully understand what it takes receive His salvation. Spiritual growth towards maturity is very important in enabling us to live a more meaningful and productive life on earth. The more spiritually mature you are, the better equipped you become in dealing with tough challenges in life, and most of all, to be able to live for Him.
Do the Work. Surrender to God. He will fight for you. Do as He teaches us for, He knows what’s best for us. God is love and everything He wants us to do is because of love.
So, let’s get started (or continue) with your spiritual growth propelled by God’s love. To learn and grow spiritually, join us in person for worship services and fellowships and also online. You can also access our website to learn about our basic beliefs.
Join us in the upcoming Fall Evangelical Service and Spiritual Convocation in September. And let the new (and revived) motivation to live for Christ begin.
