We all face fear due to uncertainty and past failures. Stress can overwhelm us when our hard work doesn’t produce the results we desire. We carry the weight of countless expectations and responsibilities, dreading the possibility of failure. In the stillness of the night, as we lie awake feeling sad and lonely, we yearn for an escape, but it seems out of reach. As we transition into adulthood, life can appear to lose its simplicity. Making it through college is exhausting, and finding a job that allows for a work-life balance might seem nearly impossible. My friends, I am so glad you’re here reading this because I want you to know that God genuinely cares for each of us. He adorns the lilies of the field, nourishes the sparrows in the sky, and cherishes us—the ones created in His own image—even more.
King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, taught us that “The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11) So, who holds the reins of our lives’ timing? It’s God. He has a perfect plan for those who love Him, covering all aspects of our lives, from college to career choices. As Paul said, “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28) If we hold such a special place in God’s heart, why do we still encounter setbacks and frustrations?
Consider the story of Joseph. Even though he remained faithful to God’s commandments, he found himself in prison, seemingly forgotten by those he had helped while they were incarcerated. Did Joseph wonder why bad things happen to good people? Yes, highly likely. But did he give up on God? No. Did God forget him? Never! In just two short years, Joseph went from being a prisoner to becoming second-in-command of an entire nation. Through his unwavering faith and trust in God’s timing, Joseph played a crucial role in God’s plan, not only restoring his own life but also saving Israel from a devastating famine.
My friends, are you ready to align your life with God’s perfect timing? I invite you to join us, embrace God’s love, and work together to experience the best things in life by seeking His kingdom and righteousness first (Matthew 6:33). When we align our lives with His divine plan and timing, we open the door to receive all the blessings God has prepared for us.

God Led Me Step by Step
Cathy used to put everything into her high-pressure job. She made her decisions independently and planned out everything she did. When her lifestyle resulted in a painful skin problem, a coworker invited her to church. God led her to know the church He wanted her to be a part of, and her life transformed to one that included God in her decisions and that put God above her career.
