耶穌教導我們，你不能同時事奉神和金錢 (馬太福音 6:24)。我親眼見證了柬埔寨人比日本人活得更快樂。我發現當我丈夫失業時，生活反而更美好。我深信神的應許，並在物質財富較少的情況下，享受著更豐盛的生活。我該如何過上滿足的生活呢？
聖經教導我們，生活因簡單而豐富。這意味著真正的富足來自過上滿足的生活並追隨神，而不是累積物質財富。這是因為物質主義可能使我們關注生活中的錯誤事物。當我被我的物質財富吞噬時，我變得被它們奴役，它們可能會將我引向誘惑和毀滅。但當我專注於神和祂的國度時，我找到了真正的滿足和平安。
以下是我對聖經教導的「生活因簡單而豐富」的一些想法：
- Contentment is key. When we are content with what we have, we are free to enjoy life and to focus on the things that are truly important.
- Relationships are more important than possessions. Our relationships with family, friends, and God are what give our lives meaning.
- Experiences are more valuable than things. The memories we make and the lessons we learn are what make us rich.
- Giving is more rewarding than receiving. When we give to others, we are not only helping them, but we are also enriching our own lives.
If you are feeling weighed down by your possessions, remember that true richness comes from living a life of contentment and following God. He will provide for you all that you need, and He will help you to find true satisfaction in life. As Hebrews 13:5-6 states: “Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for He has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?’”
如果你想過上更豐富的生活，就從專注於真正重要且持久的事物開始。滿足、人際關係、經驗和給予都比物質財富更重要。當你專注於這些事情時，你會發現生活比你想象的還要豐富。此外，滋養我們與神的親密關係尤為重要。與神深度的、個人的連結提高了我們愛、憐憫和理解的能力，讓我們活得更具同理心和無私。這種靈性的親密感，再加上我們對世俗事物的重視，創造出一種真正令人滿足的生活，充滿恩典和深深的滿足感。
