You know, when you want to do something but keep putting it off, or you try to change things but back out before you even start. Then you end up doubting and denying yourself. Whether it\u2019s procrastination, settling for less, or something else\u2014these struggles often stem from physical and spiritual weakness.<\/p>\n<p>In the marathon of life, we all hit patches of weakness, whether in worldly matters or spiritual ones. But in the grand scheme of our lives, this current weakness is just temporary, like just one piece of the puzzle. <em>Mark 14:38<\/em> in the NKJV puts it this way: &#8220;<strong><em>Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; We\u2019re human, after all, so even when we know what\u2019s good, it\u2019s tough to actually do it. So, how do we deal with this? Well, we can break it down into two steps:<\/p>\n<p>First step\u2014ask God for help. <em>Isaiah 40:29-31<\/em> tells us, &#8220;<strong><em>He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; When we pray and hand over our weaknesses to God, it eases our anxious hearts. God knows the best way to help us, but that\u2019s just the first step.<\/p>\n<p>Second step\u2014make a commitment to change. <em>2 Corinthians 5:9<\/em> says, &#8220;<strong><em>Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; The world is full of challenges and temptations. If God extends His mighty hand to us and we don\u2019t grab it because of temptations or trials, we\u2019ll still fail. So, create an environment with fewer temptations, arm yourself with more biblical knowledge to fight the devil\u2019s schemes, make a commitment to God, and keep praying for His guidance. That\u2019s how you conquer your weaknesses.<\/p>\n<p>God is real and alive, and you only truly understand His greatness when you experience His guidance firsthand. Faith isn\u2019t just something you talk about; it\u2019s how you live. I encourage everyone to come to our church to get to know and personally experience this living and true God.<\/p>\n<p>I encourage you to join our church, to seek and experience the truth of God!
