This made me keep my pain hidden, breeding resentment and isolation in my heart. But deep down, I knew God had chosen me for a purpose, as <em><i>Romans 8:28 says, &#8220;And we know that all things<\/i><\/em><em><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/em><em><i>work together<\/i><\/em><em><i>\u00a0for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.&#8221;<\/i><\/em><\/p><p>My journey to faith was complex. Initially, I was skeptical when my sister abandoned our traditional beliefs for Christianity. I couldn&#8217;t understand how she could forsake our family&#8217;s customs so easily. Yet, her faith sparked a curiosity in me about the sincerity and foundation of our beliefs.<\/p><p>My path took a significant turn in college when I met my boyfriend, a devout Christian. His unwavering faith and the warmth of his companionship showed me a glimpse of God&#8217;s love. It was through him that I encountered the True Jesus Church, and despite my initial fears and doubts, I felt a pull towards this community. They followed the Bible closely, focusing on a sincere relationship with God, as described in <em><i>John 4:24, &#8220;God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.&#8221;<\/i><\/em><\/p><p>The turning point came when I received the Holy Spirit. It was an overwhelming experience that washed away years of bitterness, embodying the promise of <em><i>2<\/i><\/em>\u00a0<em><i>Corinthians 5:17, &#8220;Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.&#8221;<\/i><\/em>\u00a0This profound change didn&#8217;t erase my struggles but gave me the strength to face them with faith.<\/p><p>Choosing to be baptized was a decision that came with its own set of challenges, especially from my family. However, I stood firm in my faith, guided by the peace that comes from knowing I am following God&#8217;s path for me.<\/p><p>Now, as I approach my thirties, I look forward to a future within a Christian marriage, embracing the joys of fellowship and service. I am participating in community activities, hopeful for what lies ahead. My journey with Christ has taught me about forgiveness, love, and the power of transformation.
