This is Nehemiah. As I reflect upon our work rebuilding Jerusalem&#8217;s walls, I see profound lessons that can guide us in nurturing our physical and mental wellness. Although you may question how I relate the rebuilding of walls to our wellness, please allow me to share these insights, as I believe they hold great value for our lives today.<\/p><p>Consider our vigilance in inspecting the walls, much like the careful attention we must pay to our physical and mental health. <i>And they said to me, \u201cThe survivors who are left from the captivity in the province are there in great distress and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.\u201d (Neh 1:3).<\/i> Just as I surveyed the broken walls to assess the repairs needed, we must regularly evaluate our health, setting goals for nutrition, exercise, rest, and care for our mental. This structured approach is akin to the plans we laid for each section of the wall, ensuring a fortified and resilient structure.<\/p><p>I just talked about maintaining our physical and mental well-being, but what about those who were already in pain? Just like those survivors from Jerusalem, they lost their home, they couldn\u2019t sleep, they couldn\u2019t eat well, they were hopeless and depressed. To them, I encouraged one another and worked side by side, with support from friends and loved ones who can provide the strength to take those initial steps towards activity \u2014 go rebuild the walls. But more importantly, I pray to the LORD. \u201c<i>So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven. And I said: \u201cI pray, LORD God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your convenient and mercy with those who love You and Observe Your commandments\u2026\u201d (Neh 1:4-5).<\/i><\/p><p>As the LORD said to us, \u201c<i>Behold, I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.\u201d (Jer 33:6).<\/i> Accept the love from God so we have peace in Him, no matter we are well or sick.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>We warmly invite you to come to the True Jesus Church\u2019s bi-annual Evangelical Service and Spiritual Convocation.
