1];\n\n            var trp_shortcode_language_item = trp_el.querySelector( '.trp-ls-shortcode-language' )\n            \/\/ set width\n            var trp_ls_shortcode_width                                               = trp_shortcode_language_item.offsetWidth + 16;\n            trp_shortcode_language_item.style.width                                  = trp_ls_shortcode_width + 'px';\n            trp_el.querySelector( '.trp-ls-shortcode-current-language' ).style.width = trp_ls_shortcode_width + 'px';\n\n            \/\/ We're putting this on display: none after we have its width.\n            trp_shortcode_language_item.style.display = 'none';\n        }\n    <\/script>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/overarching10-EN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><b>How Life Goes On<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Throughout her whole life, Martha spent time taking care of people\u2019s needs\u2014people from church, the church itself and people in her life. \u00a0One day, the pastor stopped by the room where Martha was doing prep work and figuring out how to close the gap between what was actually done and what should have been done according to the plan. \u00a0\u201cYou ever think about a retirement life, Martha?\u201d the pastor asked.<\/p>\n<p>We know them when we see them\u2014those people who are different. \u00a0They love what they do.<\/p>\n<p>Think about the friend who forgives you and keeps trying to encourage you to get back up on your feet and march on forward. \u00a0The brother and sister in Christ who looks you in the eye and provides those words of assurance\u2014you know you are being cared for. \u00a0And your co-worker who not only exhibits caring and empathy, but more importantly, exudes pure kindness.<\/p>\n<p>It is not just what they do\u2014it is who they are. \u00a0They believe. \u00a0And that\u2019s how life goes on.<\/p>\n<p>Most of us want to believe\u2014there\u2019s a little Martha in all of us. \u00a0But if we are honest, do we always believe in the journey, the mission, God and even in ourselves? \u00a0If not, we will never be able bring that belief to others.<\/p>\n<p>Then life goes on with hope, meaning and love. \u00a0It starts with each of us:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong><b>Do you believe in God?<\/b><\/strong>We need God because He is our Father. \u00a0We have messed up enough things so many times no number of apologies can set us free. \u00a0But believing in God will. \u00a0Living a life according to His will and trusting Him will help us believe in ourselves again\u2014if we don\u2019t even believe in ourselves\u2026then no one else will. \u00a0\u201c<em><i>For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.\u201d \u00a0Romans 10:10<\/i><\/em><\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong><b>Are you believable and truthful to living His Truth?<\/b><\/strong>People can relate to us when we are genuine and credible. \u00a0When we do what we say, we are believable. \u00a0But we can get derailed and go off course. \u00a0<em><i>\u201cLet no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.\u201d \u00a0Ephesians 4:29<\/i><\/em>. People believe in those who have put off their old self and put on a new self. \u00a0That\u2019s transformation that is believable. \u00a0So put God\u2019s words into action and be true and faithful to Him. \u00a0<em><i>\u201cthat you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.\u201d \u00a0Ephesians 4:22-24<\/i><\/em><\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong><b>How do you radiate your belief?<\/b><\/strong>It\u2019s not about others believing in us. \u00a0It is about us believing in them. \u00a0In a texting, virtual and swiping world, it is hard to send a ripple effect to those around you about your belief. \u00a0Saying that you believe <strong><em><b><i>in<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0someone is an expression of confidence. \u00a0At best you make them feel good about themselves. \u00a0But, believing <strong><em><b><i>for<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0them is powerful\u2026it is purposeful intention. \u00a0\u201c<em><i>[Love] bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.\u201d \u00a01 Corinthians 13:7.<\/i><\/em>\u00a0Followers of Jesus are expected to lead with love, even in the most challenging or difficult situation.
