Hurriedly, I pulled out my coat from the bottom of my suitcase. Perhaps I pulled too hard, because the button connecting the hood to the shoulder was torn off. Due to rushing and excessive force, the damage needed to be repaired to reconnect properly.<\/p><p>This scene reminded me of John 15:4-8 (NKJV):<\/p><p><em><i>\u201cAbide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.<\/i><\/em><em><i><br \/><\/i><\/em><em><i>I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.<\/i><\/em><em><i><br \/><\/i><\/em><em><i>If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.<\/i><\/em><em><i><br \/><\/i><\/em><em><i>If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.<\/i><\/em><em><i><br \/><\/i><\/em><em><i>By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.\u201d<\/i><\/em><\/p><p>I once observed a conversation between a mother and her daughter at church. The ten-year-old daughter cried to her mother, \u201cMy classmate doesn&#8217;t want to be my friend anymore.\u201d The mother replied, \u201cIt&#8217;s because our family is poor; others look down on us. No one wants to be our friend. Next time, let\u2019s attend another church. We shouldn&#8217;t come here again!\u201d<\/p><p>Hearing this deeply saddened me. Parents&#8217; mistaken ideas can mislead their children.<\/p><p>Why didn\u2019t this mother ask her child directly why others didn&#8217;t want to be friends with her? When facing difficulties, we should first reflect on ourselves. In the church, believers come in many types\u2014not everyone is spiritually strong; some are weak. Especially hurtful words shouldn&#8217;t be taken to heart. Both those who cause others to stumble and those who are stumbled will experience trouble.<\/p><p>Rather than changing churches or leaving entirely, we should instead change our hearts, asking the Lord Jesus to heal and strengthen our fragile spirits. Only when our hearts remain closely connected to Jesus can God&#8217;s words enter us, guiding us to live according to His truth and bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit.<\/p><p>Let us build our families on the Word of God, making our homes a place where faith thrives and Christ\u2019s love reigns.
