I have been there too. And it\u2019s on this very journey that I want to invite you to our upcoming church evangelical event\u2014a time to pause, reflect, and experience the transformative love of God together.<\/p>\n<p>You see, life isn\u2019t always a smooth ride. There are times when we feel overwhelmed by challenges and weighed down by the burdens of daily living. But during our struggles, the Bible offers us hope and guidance. In <em><i>Psalm 90:12<\/i><\/em>, we read, <em><i>\u201cTeach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.\u201d <\/i><\/em>This verse reminds us that every moment is precious and that by seeking wisdom and God\u2019s guidance, we can find meaning even in the most difficult times.<\/p>\n<p>Remember when we were kids, dreaming of freedom and the thrill of making our own choices? As we grow older, the weight of decisions can sometimes feel like a heavy burden. Yet, even when life\u2019s choices seem daunting, Jesus offers us comfort. He said in <em><i>Matthew 11:28, \u201cCome to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.\u201d <\/i><\/em>What a beautiful invitation to lay down our worries and find rest in His loving arms!<\/p>\n<p>I have learned that true fulfillment isn\u2019t found in chasing empty goals or accumulating temporary pleasures. It\u2019s found in the simple, daily blessings that remind us of God\u2019s presence\u2014a warm smile from a friend, a quiet moment in nature, or the peace that comes from prayer. And it is in those moments that our hearts are gently stirred toward a deeper relationship with God. When we gather at our evangelical event, we\u2019ll share these experiences and learn how embracing God\u2019s word can fill our lives with lasting joy and purpose.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also a powerful call to live with integrity and gratitude. <em><i>Ecclesiastes 12:13<\/i><\/em>\u00a0tells us, <em><i>\u201cThe end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.\u201d<\/i><\/em>\u00a0This verse is not just a statement\u2014it\u2019s an invitation to live a life that honors God, cherishing every blessing and lesson along the way. When we commit to walking in His light, we begin to see our everyday struggles in a new perspective, as steppingstones on our journey of faith.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, let\u2019s remember that while we may never see God with our eyes, His love is made known to us through Jesus Christ. <em><i>John 1:18<\/i><\/em>\u00a0reminds us, <em><i>\u201cNo one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father\u2019s side, he has made him known.\u201d<\/i><\/em>\u00a0Let\u2019s walk this journey together, sharing in God\u2019s word, building each other up, and finding renewed purpose in His everlasting love.<\/p>\n<p>Come and learn more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tjc-chicago.org\/about\/basic-beliefs\/\"><u>Doctrine<\/u><\/a>\u00a0through bible study, sermons and fellowship with us.
